My name is Hongzhen Xu and I am a graduate student at Northeastern University for the MS AI program. I graduated from undergraduate program at NYU. Living in the fascinating atmosphere of New York City, I have experienced broad minds of the international world. Living in Boston is more of an academic atmosphere, and I enjoy the lobsters and oysters here. The New York University and Northeastern University have very friendly communities, where you could make lots of friends with prominently different backgrounds. As a student graduated from NYU with double major in Economics and Computer Science, I have learned many cool stuff and got amazed by the future of technology and data. During my school years, I have built up strong abilities of computer technology and formed a view of the world economy. In order to prepare myself for the fastly updating world, I keep learning new knowledge and find a sense of accomplishment in the process. I intend to learn more about machine learning and robotics during my MS AI program in Northeastern University in Boston.
My hometown is Jiangsu Province in China, a beautiful place with lots of historical heritage. Most remarkable of all is its food culture, which is both exquisite and delicious.
I love reading beautiful literature and detective stories.I enjoy coffee, tea, korean barbecue and other fantastic foods.
I love traveling. I have been to many places, each one has its unique culture and charm. By planning trips for my friends, I have learned how to take a good management of time and energy.
For sports, I was an intense soccer and table tennis player during middle school. After getting into college, I learned tennis and sometimes play badminton. I have also learned driving in China. Not only does driving a car give me transportation convenience, but also remind me of responsibility on the road.
